What if Earth Was a Donut (With Sprinkles)?

Here's a poem for a change.

Sometimes, I wonder…

How would I balance on an earth

that was a donut?

Would it be black or brown

white or pink?

would it even matter so much though

Would it be flat?

If so,

would I be on the dough

or the void?

Would there be lines

dividing the dough?

How would I know

those beyond the void though?

Would it be a torus?

like a tire?

Where would it be headed?

Then I remember

it’s a difficult question

to answer

For I do not know

that even when

the earth is not a donut

(with sprinkles)
